The Cincinnati Animal News Examiner will be featuring a different Cincinnati area animal rescue each day in September. 30 rescues from around our region will be profiled between now and the end of the month.
The goal of this project is to shine the spotlight on some of the amazing people and animals who make up the local rescue community. The majority of rescues are run by tireless volunteers who work lengthy hours for no compensation beyond the joy of helping animals and the knowledge of knowing they’ve saved lives. For these compassionate souls, that is more than enough.
Readers will be introduced to a variety of wonderful animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and others who are not quite as common in the rescue scene. Some of these animals have already found their forever homes, while some are still waiting, but they all have one thing in common. They have all been given a second chance and a new beginning thanks to the rescue organizations and shelters that changed their lives.
Tune in tomorrow for the first of our featured rescues, and learn about the animals of Fourgotten Paws.
