Tonight’s episode of Big Brother opened after the Nomination Ceremony, in which Frank nominated Dan and Danielle. Dan hoped Ian would use the Veto on him. He and Britney talked about the options for Veto in order to keep the entire Quack Pack alliance safe. Britney went to Ian to tell him the plan.
They picked players for the Veto Competition. Frank picked Shane’s chip, Danielle picked Britney’s, and Dan got houseguest’s choice, so he chose Jenn. Frank asked Ian to host the competition. Jenn then proceeded to make her big move to team up with Frank.
The houseguests went out to the backyard and were greeted with a “Draw Something” PoV Competition. They each had to try and guess the word the person was trying to draw. (America was able to submit drawings in advance to be used during the competition). If the first houseguest to ring in got the answer correct, they had to accept a punishment in order to earn the points. Frank easily took the most punishments, as he dyed himself like an avocado, had to take a chum shower every time a horn goes off for the next 24 hours, had to wear a carrot costume, and agreed to sit out the next HoH Competition. Britney ended up being shackled to Danielle for 24 hours. Dan took solitary confinement for 24 hours. On the last question, Britney rang in and couldn’t think of the answer, so Frank whispered it to her. Since they were not allowed to help their fellow contestants, Frank was eliminated. Jenn took slop for the rest of the summer to earn the Veto.
After shedding some tears in the Diary Room, Dan headed into the Have Not Room for his solitary confinement dance party, while Britney and Danielle shackled themselves together.
When Dan got out of solitary confinement, he called a house meeting to have a funeral for himself. He made pretty much every cry and complimented everyone. He saved Danielle for last and told her she was dead to him in the game and that he wouldn’t forgive her for what she did. She sat completely bewildered, with her mouth hanging open, before she burst into tears. Everyone else gathered around Danielle to make her feel better and talked about how they would vote Dan out. Shane took Danielle aside and let her cry on his shoulder.
Dan brought the Bible upstairs to swear on it and talk to Frank, even though he lied to everyone during his funeral and said he had something to read Frank in order to apologize. Dan ratted Ian out and told Frank about the Quack Pack alliance. He told him he wanted the two of them to work together, and the two of them hatched a plan to work together with Jenn and Danielle.
Dan went downstairs to talk to Danielle. He pulled her into the Arcade Room to tell her it was just an act and that he saved them both. She was upset and cried some more because he broke her heart. Dan told her about the new alliance and plan to put Britney up in Dan’s place. He guaranteed she would be safe now that everyone felt such sympathy for her.
Frank and Jenn talked about the new plan and the idea for Jenn to use the Veto on Frank. Their plan was set, since Jenn was easily on board.
At the Veto Meeting, Ian was up first. He did not use the Veto to remove anyone from the block. Jenn used the Veto to remove Dan from the block, and Frank swiftly put Britney up in his place, saying Ian got rid of his closest allies, so he needed to do the same. Britney was completely shocked and burst into tears in the Diary Room. Ian looked like he was ready to attack someone. Dan was excited to be a risen man, and Jenn was a little too proud of herself for making a big game move. Apparently, this house thinks making big game moves is getting out weak players now and keeping the strong players until the end. Good plan, houseguests. See how well that works out for you.
