“Body of Proof” is set to return to Channel 15 in Tempe at mid-season, and now fans are being given a bit of inside scoop on what is to come when the series returns with its third season. On Sunday, July 29, TV Fanatic shared the latest casting news for the series. If you missed any of the previously released photos or spoilers for this series, go here.
When this series returns, it will look very different. A cast shake-up has tossed out most of the regular cast, and now someone new is coming in. Mark Valley is in talks to join the series as a regular and love interest for Megan Hunt, played by Dana Delany. He was last seen on “Harry’s Law” on NBC. TV Fanatic described his arrival as follows:
“He will likely come on board as Detective Tommy Sullivan, a former love interest for Megan who transfers to Philadelphia and aims to win her back. Look for flirting and case-solving to ensue between the pair as a result.”
This series was set for cancellation at the end of season two, but ABC decided to keep it around. These casting changes could either make the series more viable or send it to sure death. Fans are buzzing about this series on social media. One fan said the following on Twitter recently:
This #NBCfail olympics thing, is even #MoreReason to watch #ABCTV crimeshow #BodyOfProof this year #NBCYouLose
“Body of Proof” will return to Channel 15 in Tempe in the spring.
