Coldplay blazed through the Washington, D.C. area this summer on their Mylo Xyloto tour in July 2012. They literally lit up the Verizon Center in a display of kaleidoscope bright neon lights and graffiti plastered all over the arena.
Coldplay wowed their fans with a blur of confetti and beach balls which toppled down over the crowd throughout the night. The show, promoted by LiveNation, was incredibly interactive and energetic, with opening acts Wolf Gang and Robyn jump starting the venue.
The tour featured hit songs from the album Mylo Xyloto such as “Hurts Like Heaven,” “Major Minus,” “Every teardrop is a Waterfall” and “Paradise,” as well as sixteen other songs including “Yellow” a 2000 hit single.
