Born and raised in Houston, Texas the 25 year old Iranian designer has a always had a passion for fashion. The trendy fashionista is usually spotted in a “must have” outfit. She wears shades of bright colors and definatly isn’t afraid to mix and match! Her eccentric style is what pursed her dreams of starting her own line.
Aghili’s designs can all be found on her website. Her designs are an extension of her own style, boho-chic mixed with glam-rock. She focuses on bringing on-trend, yet affordable jewelry to her fashionistas on a budget. She covers it all, from evil-eye jewelry to skull gems. Aghili offers high end looks for a fraction of the cost! When her website launched, Sarah only had costume jewelry available. Aghili launched her website in late 2009, adding fine jewelry, mens, and ready to wear collection in 2011. In 3 years it has grown to include sunglasses, nail polish, and even canine couture! Aghili is inspired by her travels.
Sarah’s designs have received the most attention in teen magazines. Her gems are a favorite glitzing on covers of magazines like American Cheerleader and Seventeen Magazine. SarahAghili.com has evolved from being every tween and teens go to site for affordable accessories, to a site for women of every age. The designer’s pieces are frequently used in the “Style Focus” section of Life & Style magazine. The website is becoming a celebrity favorite, actresses like Miley Cyrus, and Lucy Hale, have been seen wearing the designers bracelets. Hunger Games star, Isabelle Fuhrman(a fan of lucky jewelry), told Girls Life Magazine that her and her younger sister, both love the designers bracelets. Aghili herself has even been wearing her own designs to events, from her chained headbands to wrist full of bracelets, we are digging the style!
The talented designer and business woman, also has a passion for philanthropy. Sarah offers jewelry with proceeds benefiting various charity foundations online. The business owner and philanthropist raised nearly $25,000 for Hope’s Door last year. Hope’s Door is a shelter and counseling center that offers direct intervention to Texas families affected by domestic violence. At the Hope’s Door Auction, the designer not only offered gift certificates to SarahAghili.com, but decided to go into her closet for a cause! She auctioned off her own handbags, dresses, and jackets! Aghili’s efforts provided safe shelter for more than 1,000 women and their children who were victims of abuse. The designer is speaking out about domestic violence at the upcoming Hope’s Door Gala. She continues to raise funds for Hope’s Door with a bracelet on her website. Aghili also joins the battle to find a cure for children’s cancer. She is involved with The Curing Children’s Cancer Fund. An organization that funds research to find treatments and cures for pediatric cancer. She offers a bracelet on her website, and in The Texas Children’s hospital gift shops with 100% of the proceeds going to the foundation. The Down Syndrome Aim High Resource Center(DSAHRC) is another association she is passionate about. The DSAHRC raises funds and creates awareness for children affected with down syndrome. She has items for a cause for that raise awareness and funds for, Autism awareness, The Anti-Bullying Campaign, Green Peace, Lucky Dog Rescue, and even a The Teen Coalition of Homosexuals.
