Reality star, Evelyn Lozada and now estranged wife to former NFL receiver, Chad Johnson, formerly Chad “Ochocinco,” says she is not speaking with her husband after the nationalized head-butt incident that occurred earlier this month.
The Puerto Rican, Bronx-born “Basketball Wives” co-star told TMZ she is not speaking to Johnson, and that she is also “alright.” Lozada is currently in New York preparing for a sit-down, tell-all interview about what actually happened on August 11th, the day the domestic violence got out of hand.
The alleged head-butt incident not only cost Chad Johnson his NFL job with the Miami Dolphins, and his appearance on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” with the team, but both Johnson and Lozada also lost their chance with VH-1 to continue their reality show, “Ev and Ocho.”
VH-1 pulled the plug on the show after learning of Johnson’s arrest in the domestic incident. The show was scheduled to originally air, September 3rd, and VH-1 has no plans of airing the show in the future.
As for the Latina reality show entertainer, Lozada wants to tell everybody the whole story…starting with “Good Morning America’s,” well-known anchor, Robin Roberts.
Sadly, due to Roberts’ sickness and already scheduled leave of absence on the show, the star morning anchor was forced to pull out of the interview.
Instead, Amy Robach will sit in and take over for Roberts. Reports state Lozada was completely in agreement and was fine with the interview change.
Amy Robach is a former NBC “Weekend Today” anchor, and is now performing interview and fill-in duties with ABC News.
No word exactly when the interview will air.
