After an absence that has spanned multiple generations of Georgetown centers, the Ewing 33 Hi returns from Ewing Athletics. Sneaker store Kith NYC showed off some brand new images of the shoes early Thursday in anticipation of its late August release.
Once upon a time, Patrick Ewing was known famously for his sneaker deal with adidas. In time, Ewing would eventually branch off and do something that had never been done before: be the face of his own brand. With the recent wave of nostalgia that is riding, the Ewing 33 Hi has one of those designs that really speak to those with 90s sensibilities.
The shoes will come with the reversible ankle strap, the Ewing signature logo on the side panel and also include the famous key chain that came with the shoe. And while it is known that the shoe will include a variety of colorways, although it appears that they will steadily release the shoes over time.
The Ewing 33 Hi will be available Aug. 31 for $100.00 in what appears to be very limited quantities at high-end sneaker boutiques like Kith NYC. A sneakerhead who might be in the market for these would serve well to call their connection to see if they know anybody that will stock it.
