Forgiveness is an act of kindness to another and more so for you! It is said, “You cannot solve a problem with the same thinking that created it!” By far, the strongest poison to the human spirit is the inability to forgive oneself or another person. Regret or resentment contaminates the soul and makes one sick and old. Forgiveness is the essential step before real spiritual growth, self- healing and wellness can begin.
International Forgiveness Day begins on Sunday, August 5. However, begin the weekend with co-founder of the One Life Alliance, Kia Sherr. Kia will speak on Friday August 3, from 7:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the Sunrise Center in Corte Madre, CA. We cannot control the facts of the outer world; yet we can control our experience of it. Our control and power of the situation is in our own thoughts and when we put our conscious mind in charge. Focused, trained thought is our most powerful tool; use it for giving love and understanding to yourself and another.
