Do you know Jeremy Rabe? The quirky guy who has funky hair and his own television program. He does home decorating and crafts on this weekly show. He has been on a special segment on the KY3 Saturday news program. He has been available on line and on Kansas and Texas stations. The show is recorded in Springfield at Opfer Communications. As of Sunday, October 6 you can watch it on the CW, 33-2 here in the Queen City of the Ozarks. The FYI Guy’s thriftiness is a draw for most Christians.
If you have followed him on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or any of the other social media, you know that his slogan is Fast, Easy and Fun. While he looks somewhat like Peewee Herman, the program is not geared toward children. The studio audience is mostly female. The five programs your Examiner has previewed all had female guests helping with the projects. The Halloween show is especially fun and if you watch the Thanksgiving program you will be able to see Jeremy’s mother and grandmother.
The men in the audience may just not be as photogenic as the ladies or statistical probabilities may be at play, but I am sure that soon Jeremy will have a man as his on air helper. Keep watching to see. Mr. Rabe also goes beyond being just another DIY type of host. When he learned that one of his fans was fighting cancer, he went to her home to meet her. He posted on Facebook that he loved her stories and enjoyed the opportunity to chat with Lois. She has been a friend of your Examiner for years and this kindness is very impressive.
If you are looking for family fun and entertainment and even if you are not a crafty person, check out the program next Sunday on channel 33-2 at 8:00 a.m. If you would like an evening of family friendly fun and have the opportunity to see a television program recorded live, keep an eye on FYIguy.com for information about the upcoming Christmas show. You might even get to meet your Examiner as well as Jeremy Rabe. Hope to see you there.
