The Rancic’s finally get the happy ever after they deserve.
The couple welcomed son Edward Duke Rancic at 10:12 pm Wednesday night in Denver, as reported by E!. The baby weighed 7 pounds and 4 ounces.
“Bill and I are blessed beyond words to welcome Edward into our lives. Thank you so much to everyone who supported us along the way. We are so in love with the little guy already!”
Baby Rancic was born via gestational carrier and came into the world after a smooth and quick four hours of labor. Both parents were in the delivery room for the entire birth of their son.
The Rancic’s said they were beyond ecstatic to see their son after trying to have children for so long. Bill cut the umbilical cord and Giluana was the first to hold the baby.
Bill took to his Twitter to share the good news:
“The ‘Duke’ has landed! Edward Duke Rancic was welcomed into the world last night at 7lbs 4oz. G & I feel blessed beyond words…We did it!”
Bill earlier announced their gestational carrier was in labor on Wednesday afternoon when he tweeted, “It’s Game Time…….”
Son, Edward, was born only days before Giuliana and Bill’s fifth wedding anniversay, and he could not have come at a better time. After publicly sharing their struggles to conceive a child, and then Giuliana’s breast cancer battle, I think it’s safe to say that no one is more deserving of a happy and healthy family than Giuliana and Bill.
Congratulations and best of luck to the new parents!
