A number of exceptionally good deals for diners in the city’s neighborhoods will be available during Restaurant Week, which takes place this summer in Boston from August 19-August 31
Take, for example, the South End, home to a large number of restaurants, where Aquitaine will present the $33.12 three course dinner and also include a complimentary Champagne toast this year. In addition, a two or a three course lunch are also available. The two course lunch is only $15.12.
The menu offers soups such as Chilled Corn “Vichyssoise” with Smoked Bacon and Avocado, entrées like Roasted Berkshire Pork with Sweet Corn Tart, Watercress and Marinated Tomato Salade, and such mouthwatering desserts as Peach Soufflé Glacé.
Elsewhere in the ‘hood, Masa is extending Restaurant Week to the entire month of August. The three course $33.12 dinner is offered every evening and four specially selected wines, two reds and two whites, originally ranging from $42 to $32 a bottle, will be priced at 50 percent off.
For the entire month, diners can select from choices such as Chilled Summer Gazpacho with Roasted Corn Salsa, Southwestern Steak Frites with Chile Lime Arugula Salad and Guajillo Bourbon Sauce.
