Indulgence Salon hosted “Haircuts for Autism” Saturday, surpassing their personal goal of $1000. Staff opened their chairs at 10a.m. and cut their hearts out until 3p.m. It was a mix of some new comers and some were already salon clients. Fox 4 News was there and along with Fort Myers News-Press. Donations raised go to Eden Autism of Florida, a school for children with autism.
Taire Mulloy and staff from Eden, joined Indulgence Salon in effort to make Saturday’s Cut-a-thon a huge success. They brought some of the art work made by the students at Eden and people took some home with them for a donation. Indulgence Salon orchestrated a bake-sale, raffle, and silent auction with generous donations from other business’ and clients.

“Each stylist took nothing today and did haircuts for donations for the cause,” owner Patty Chafatelli says, “we all have clients with autistic children and it really hits home for us. Not to mention one of our stylists sister works for Eden Autism and that is when we really saw our opportunity to become involved in our community.”
