“I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well.” – Psalm 139:14
God wanted me to stay here with this same verse that we studied yesterday, in my article entitled “We are fearfully and wonderfully made.” The Lord gave revelation concerning the first part of this verse yesterday; and now has shined through, revealing those hidden things kept in reserve, for the second part of what He has written in Psalm 139:14.
The Hebrew word for “marvelous” as used in this verse is “pala” (paw-law). This word is very similar in spelling to the original word for “wonderfully”, (palah) and pronounced the same way, but with a different meaning. The meaning for “pala” is “to make great, hidden, things too high, miracles, wonders” (Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance). The Word of God tells us that His ways and thoughts are higher than our ways and thoughts (Isaiah 55:9). The Lord also instructs us to call to Him, and He will answer us and He will reveal those hidden things to us (Jeremiah 33:3).
We have access to God’s throne room through the blood of Jesus, and to those hidden things. Hebrews 10:19-22 testifies throughout the hallways of Heaven, from the rooftops of the universe, and atop mountains of the world “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which He has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh; and having a High Priest over the house of God; let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.”
Beloved, if you need answers and solutions to your life and to your situation, you need only to look up to the counsel of the Almighty and call to Him. Your all-knowing and all-seeing Father is waiting for you to stop looking to others for answers and to turn to Him for everything you need.
The works of God is “maaseh” (mah-as-eh) which is “a poem” (Strong’s). How amazing is this! God, the Master Poet, chose to demonstrate His works through a poem. All of the works of the Lord are revealed by the unrolling and reading of the holy scroll of His Lips, which activated what He had spoken into existence. We are the poetry of the Master Poet. This indeed is a beautiful sentiment. When you think of yourself as a poem, it should make you already feel different about yourself and the reason for your being. You were made, crafted, and woven together with such great love from the Father.
What our soul “knows” is “yada” (yaw-daw), and as used here means “endued with power from on high” (Strong’s). Jesus promised us, just as He did the Apostles, that the Holy Spirit will “endue you with power from on high” (Luke 24:49). The Greek word for “endued” as used in Luke 24:49 is “enduo” (en-doo-o) meaning “in the sense of sinking into a garment” (Strong’s). In other words, God promises to clothe us with His Power from on High!
How do we receive these garments upon us? We are to “know very well” the marvelous works of the Creator. As we continue to develop a closer and more intimate relationship with our Father, a well of gratitude will be uncapped and spring forth from within us for who God is in us and in our lives, and we will begin to see the hidden things of the Father. And as we begin to see those things revealed to us by God Himself, the clothing of heaven, the garments of the power and the glory of God will begin to drop down and dress us.
Do you want to be clothed with the glory and the power of God, beloved? Do you want your Heavenly Father to dress you and adorn you in the outfits that he has fashioned for you, precious child? Then start looking up and marveling at the works of your King, Who wrote the poem of life — of which, you are a part.
Father, thank you that we are your poem. Thank you Magnificent Majesty for amazing us with your marvelous works. Father, we hunger for more of you and less of us. We hunger for a deeper and more intimate relationship with you. We call to you, Most High God, and we seek those hidden things. For in the revelation of your hidden things, you are glorified, and we are brought even closer to you. In Jesus Name, thank you for doing a new work in us and for enduing us with your Power from on High. Amen and Amen!
Take Action! Challenge your thinking! Choose to start looking up and all around you and marveling at the mighty works of the Father. Begin to see the Hand of God in everything that is good around you. Ask God to reveal those hidden things kept in reserve for such a time as this! And continue to fight the good fight of being clothed with God’s Power from on High; for God, your Heavenly Tailor has already given you the victory!
May God Bless you and keep you always.
With warmest regards,
And, in service of The Most High King,
