As the saying goes: “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.” And when Liberty Ross learned about her husband’s tryst with Kristen Stewart, she forbid “Snow White” director Rupert Sanders to work with her on the sequel. She was furious about the hot kisses photos and Stewart’s apology. Although earlier today reports noted that Kristen Stewart would not be appearing in the “Snow White” sequel, a Universal Pictures rep in an email to ABC News today, August 15, 2012, said that this was a false rumor. Kristen Stewart was not dropped from the Snow White sequel
No longer the image of a pure maiden
The truth is this — there may not even be a sequel. But if there is, as Snow White, Kristen Stewart will no longer be perceived as the Snow White fantasy image, a maiden “pure as driven snow.”
Here is what the Universal Pictures rep told ABC News
“We are extremely proud of ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’ and we’re currently exploring all options to continue the franchise. Any reports that Kristen Stewart has been dropped are false.” Stewart was not dropped
In fact, Universal co-chair Donna Langley issued a similar statement to MTV News.
How did no-sex hot kisses turn into an ugly, name calling affair?
According to Dr. Bradford Wilcox, director of the National Marriage Project at the University of Virginia, whom I often interview, “Infidelity has come down modestly since the 1990s. Americans are more likely now to express disapproval of infidelity than they were in the 1970s.”
Also fans see Stewart and Pattinson through their own eyes and not the eyes of fiction. Fans idealized the two and refused somehow to accept the truth outlined by Gossip Cop.
1. Stewart and Sanders’ hookups occurred in the last few weeks — not during the filming of Snow White and the Huntsman.
2. While they definitely fooled around, Stewart and Sanders did not have sex.
3. Sanders is now focusing all his attention on repairing his marriage to Liberty Ross, and it’s been a “very difficult” time for them.
4. Despite Stewart’s public apology and first open declaration of love for the actor, Pattinson, who was “blindsided,” is still very “upset” and is not prepared to discuss the matter at all with Stewart. Kristen Stewart Cheating Scandal: Facts vs. Fiction | Gossip Cop
Jodi Foster for the defense
It was refreshing today to read that Jodi Foster — who re-affirmed my own belief that “time heals all wounds” — came to the defense of Kristen Stewart: Jodie Foster defends Kristen Stewart in open letter
The story of being kicked off the sequel was just another Tinsel Town myth.
