Madria Sangria Moscato (wine beverage)-For those of you who are not normally into sangria nor partake of alcoholic beverages (like yours truly), this will be a pleasant surprise.
This particular drink is something that I would have no qualms about serving at a gathering or party (there‘s only a 6.5 % level of alcohol throughout the entire bottle), and it’s also something that I would feel safe drinking solo (not that I’m going to drink the entire bottle in one shot!).
Here’s why: It’s light, with far more fruity taste than you’d think (now for those who want the regular alcohol “buzz”, so to speak, this may not be enough for you. One co-sampler told me that they really enjoyed the fruity elements, while another co-sampler informed me that the drink was just OK; they wanted more “buzz”. I thought it was a perfect blend of just enough alcohol and fruit (playful without being silly, sophisticated and charming without being ostentatious, and a full-bodied taste without being slutty about it).
What I also noticed was that when I sipped, the fruit flavors (a mix of orange, peach and apple) seemed subtle; but when I fully drank, the flavors were more intense. And when you burp, there’s this really nice fruity aftertaste!
I also like the smell (it’s a subtle hint of fruit) and look (pale straw to lemon yellow bright).
There are two best ways to serve this: over ice “as is,” or with fresh or frozen (go for fresh) fruit that will really intensify those fruity elements. This wine beverage can also be served in a cocktail.
Madria Sangria Moscato is available wherever wine is sold; retail prices are $6.00 for a 750 ml bottle, $7.00 for a 4-pack of 187 ml bottles and $10.00 for a 1.5L bottle.

Tovolo Silicone Ice Cube Trays-These are so cute! And they actually work better than regular ice cube trays. It’s most likely because they’re made of soft silicone (this could well be the same silicone that was used as a breast enhancement), which gives the trays a rubbery feel and texture (yet they‘re very sturdy). All I know is, all the ice cubes just totally pop out in unison, with nary a one left behind!
Tovolo Ice Cube Trays are dishwater safe and come in various colors, including red, blue, green, pink and others. A regular set of two retails for $13.85. The King Cube version starts from $7.94 to $8.93.

Williams-Sonoma Lemon Stirrers-They’re long, slender glass sticks that are very suitable for stirring tall, cool drinks (there‘s a round knob on the bottom end to enhance the stirring process). Each stir stick has a sparkling glass lemon on top of it, which makes your drinks look very fashionable. They’re hand washable and very easy to clean (you could actually just rinse them off most of the time). And these are not some flimsy little things; they’re surprisingly quite sturdy.
The Lemon Stirrers come in a set of six and retails for $24.00.
Cocktail Picks (with the same lemon top design, but they’re straight from top to bottom) are also available in a set of six, retailing for $15.00.
