Want to shed a few pounds and tone up? Then channel your inner “Biggest Loser” determination and take a free exercise class online Wednesday, July 18. The Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) and NBC are teaming up to provide these classes to kick off their new “Biggest Loser” fitness program.
More than seven hours of free exercise classes will be offered, consisting of 30-minute sessions. Each class will be taught by an AFAA certified trainer. The AFAA says that researchers have discovered that overweight people feel more comfortable and safer working out in a non-threatening environment. Together with NBC, they hope that fans of the show will take the free class – and then pay to continue. In addition to the fitness classes, the new program offers nutrition tips and, for those who are already fit, certification programs to become a Biggest Loser trainer.
“We are very excited to invite anyone who wants to lose weight to join us live, online for The Biggest Loser Live Training Workout Day,” said Kathy Stevens, AFAA’s Director of Education. “The day will be a great motivator to help people get off the couch and take the first step to a healthier lifestyle, with the convenience of joining from literally anywhere with Internet access. We really encourage everyone in America to seize this opportunity to work out live with an AFAA certified fitness professional and enjoy these free exercise sessions.” Learn more by visiting: https://www.biggestloserlivetraining.com/
