Widely known as pioneers and masters of the progressive genre, Yes have embarked on a 2012 world tour with legends Steve Howe (a true virtuoso), Alan White, Geoff Downes and Christopher Squire intact and in place of founding member and singer Jon Anderson is American singer Jon Davison.
In a press release announcing the show promoters shared that Yes have sold nearly 50 million albums worldwide since they first debuted in 1971. With commercial hits like “Love Will Find A Way” and “Roundabout,” among others, the band has produced some of the most intricate and complex music in rock. Now with the release of their new album “Fly From Here,” the Grammy Award-winning band will continue its reign over progressive rock music.
Partnering with Yes on this latest tour is special guest Procol Harum. Also recognized as contributors to the progressive and symphonic rock genre, Procol Harum is best known for their single “A Whiter Shade of Pale.”
If you are a fan of either of these bands or just want the opportunity to see some amazingly gifted musicians, come out to this show.
