Below is a delightful recipe for ground chicken tacos that use an added refreshing character of limes and spices to provide a fresh feel to this quick meal along with sliced avocado that is added on top further pushing those hungry eaters to gather around the taco building stations for seconds over and over again.
What you need:
1lb ground chicken
Spices for chicken (salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic salt, chili powder, dash of ground cumin)
2 cup of lettuce
1 large tomato
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 package of soft corn tortillas
What you do:
- Cook ground chicken in a skillet with spices. Take one lime and squeeze juice into chicken while cooking.
- While chicken is cooking. Slice up lettuce, avocado and tomato. Shred cheese. Slice lime.
- Assemble – heat corn tortillas in a skillet, place on plate, and fill with all the goodies. Garnish with limes slices.
- Serve with your favorite hot sauce
