The Randolph County Sheriff’s Department answered 542 calls last week according to the Randolph County Emergency Services. These are just the calls that went through the 911-call center.

According to the United States Census website, Randolph County covers 782.5 square miles. It had a population in 2010 of 142,358 citizens. The census shows a population base of 181.1 people per square mile.
