“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Paul Nassif officially filed for divorce earlier this week, even though the couple had only separated. Now, a new “Radar Online” report released on Aug. 29 reveals that Adrienne’s own family may have played a role in her decision to file her own divorce papers that same week. According to the report, Adrienne’s own brothers pushed her to file for divorce because they wanted her to pull the plug on the marriage. Apparently, her brothers were concerned about the long separation and Paul’s motives of getting a piece of Adrienne’s fortune.
“Adrienne is extremely close to her four brothers, and they have been fiercely protective of their only sister. Adrienne’s brothers have never liked Paul and feel that he has treated her horribly during the course of their marriage,” a source has revealed of the separation. “Adrienne’s family is concerned that Paul is going to try and get a piece of the family fortune, even though there is an iron-clad prenup in place. Paul got very used to the perks of being married to a Maloof, and they felt that the longer the separation went on, the increased chances that Paul would try to use the couple’s three children to get more money out of her in the short term,” the insider added.
Of course, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof is one of the wealthiest housewives to ever be on the show, as she is worth well over $300 million because of her family’s businesses, including casinos and owning the Sacramento Kings.
Do you think Adrienne listened to her brothers?
