“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice may be feeling lucky these days, because her husband Joe Giudice’s legal troubles keep getting delayed. Not only did various court dates get delayed throughout the summer but now, according to a new “Wetpaint Entertainment” report released on Aug. 29, it seems like his trial that was scheduled to start this fall will be delayed until next year. That means Teresa will get to spend more time with her husband at home.
According to the report, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is getting a break from all of the couple’s troubles with this delayed trial. It means that Joe Giudice will be home for Thanksgiving and quite possibly Christmas. When the trial was scheduled for the month of October, Joe could have faced upwards of 10 years in jail, which would have caused him to lose several holidays with his family. Now, he will get a few more months with his family.
At this point, Joe Giudice has rejected a plea deal which could have given him a shorter prison sentence. He is convinced that he can beat the system, even though they have strong evidence against him. Perhaps, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice will use his jail time for something positive, like write a tell-all book to provide for her children or ask Bravo for a spin-off show.
Are you surprised that Joe’s trial may be delayed once again? Do you think he deserves several more months of freedom?
