Samsung is having an amazing third quarter so far! The Samsung Galaxy SIII proved to be the “King of Android phones” since it launched June 2012, and tomorrow, August 16th, The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will be available for sale. It looks and operates like an ultra-luxe super tablet, seems to be better than the iPad (no offense to Apple), so it may also be crowned as “King of Tablets” by year end.
Liz McCraw, was emcee at the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 press meeting today at the JAZZ Lincoln Center NYC, where she introduced Tim Baxter, President of Samsung Electronics America. Tim says there is now a tablet that will unleash creativity, truly makes writing personal again, removes barriers to learning, enhances productivity, allows one to multitask and that powerful device is here today! It’s The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Here is a video of Liz McCraw introducing Tim Baxter: http://youtu.be/UqWOoN7Vwjk

According to Younghee Lee, Sr. Vice President and Head of Global Marketing for Samsung Mobile, Samsung Electronics has sold over 10 million Galaxy Notes in the past nine months! As we all can see, the Galaxy Note sold incredibly well, altho there was skepticism the device was too big to serve as a phone, and too small to work as a tablet. So many people carry both their cell phones and their tablet, so it’s no surprise that it’s doing so well, and The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 will most probably do even better to supercede the iPad3, which many people say it’s just like the iPad2.
