Sci-Fi fans are no stranger to hot celebrities and this fall season has the shows and the actors to prove it. The SyFy Channel, CW, and AMC networks bring the drama, action, and good looks to the television screen. Here’s a brief glimpse in to sci-fi’s hottest shows Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, The Walking Dead, Being Human, Haven, and Warehouse 13.
Thursdays will welcome back The Vampire Diaries as season four gets started on October 11th. Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, and Paul Wesley all return to one of CW’s hottest shows. Elena will turn in to a vampire and will not waste any time in embracing her newfound vampire existence. pingroof.com shared that Elena’s new state will change things completely on the series. As for Meredith, with Alaric’s exit fans are wondering if this will mean her exit is near.
Supernatural is moving to Wednesdays and is heading in to its eighth season starting October 3rd. Rumor has it that the shows stars, Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles have agreed to two more seasons. According to a Zap2it interview Carver is optimistic for a good fan reaction to Sam’s new love interest, Amelia to be played by Liane Balaban. Dean’s character doesn’t have any planned romances but he’ll be forming a dangerous relationship with a dark vampire named Benny, played by Defying Gravity star Ty Olsson.
SyFy’s hit television shows Warehouse 13 both had their season premiere on July 23rd. Season 4 kicks off with the Warehouse Team still recovering from the season three finale. The only hope they have is to find an obscure artifact that will hopefully save them all.
Season three of Haven premieres Friday, September 21st and will pick up immediately following the events of the season finale. Stars Lucas Bryant, Emily Rose, and Eric Balfour return to the town of Haven. The town where people with supernatural abilities have migrated for generations because it mutes their powers, allowing them to lead normal lives.
The SyFy version of Being Human is a re-imagining of the acclaimed BBC original series that follows three 20-something roommates. The roles of the ghost, vampire and werewolf will be reprised by Sam Huntington, Meaghan Rath, and Sam Witwer. One can only wish for a return of Mark Pellegrino as Bishop. Season 3, like the previous seasons, will run 13 episodes and will air in early 2013.
In the season two finale of The Walking Dead there were a lot of shocking deaths but the survivors push forward. On October 14th Rick’s Leadership will continue to guide them through the zombie apocalypse by seeking shelter in an old prison. Anxious fans await cast members Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln, Sarah Wayne, Laurie Holden, Lauren Cohan, and Steven Yeun to return.
