“‘Sound vibration is definitely taking the world by storm,’” Sherryl Comeau paraphrases psychic Edgar Cayce. “‘That really will be the next medication of the 21st century.’” Ms. Sherryl has been helping people heal themselves by raising their vibrations with crystal singing bowls for three years. She explained to the Boston Pagan Examiner how being in a room with vibrating quartz crystal bowls heals both the spirit and the body.
Quartz crystal singing bowls are formed from quartz powder poured into a special mold heated to 4,000 degrees. The result “looks like a big white salad bowl,” Ms. Sherryl says. Each of her seven bowls is a different size and produces a different tone. “They are tuned to each chakra sensor in our body. In playing the bowls, I open everybody’s chakras.
“The main organs in our physical body, they’re fed energy from the energy field and that’s what keeps them working and in balance. We create disharmony within ourself, in turn lowering our frequency. It does weigh heavy on us and can create anger, anxiety, illness etc…”
Crystal bowls are not the only way to achieve vibration healing. “Flutes, harps; anything that vibrates can raise your vibration. It passes the mind altogether; it has nothing to do with it. It works on a cellular level.”
Ms. Sherryl says the vibration affects more than the physical body, however. “Flutes, harps; anything that vibrates and holds a resonance can raise your vibration. It works on a cellular level and by-passes the mind altogether; having nothing to do with the logical side of us,” Ms. Sherryl says. “It helps us find our Higher Self, the Divine in all of us, whatever you call that Higher Intelligence. This is spiritual. It’s not a religious thing,” she adds, pointing out that people of all religious backgrounds can find healing through this meditative process.
Ms. Sherryl’s website is at www.energyworkstudio.com. Go to it to hear what her bowls sound like, buy her recent CD, or see the schedule of her sessions all over New England. The latter includes her sessions at metaphysical bookstore Circles of Wisdom in Andover MA (1), such as a solo session on August 2 2012 and a guided meditation session aided by psychics Gerri DeSimone and Christian Anderson on August 8 2012. Everyone over age 14 is welcome; Ms. Sherryl feels that children under that age cannot and should not be expected to sit still for the whole session. Everyone of all ages will be welcome at the family-friendly sessions she is now planning—watch her website for details!
