High pressure will drift to the east of the area this morning. A weak disturbance will move across the area this afternoon. While the atmosphere is generally dry, this disturbance could be enough to touch off a shower or thunderstorm in a few spots this afternoon. It will be warm with afternoon high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with a lingering chance of a shower or thunderstorm. Lows will cool to the mid 60s in Akron overnight.
On Tuesday, a weak cold front will cross the state from west to east during the afternoon. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely, especially after noon. It will be a bit more humid with afternoon highs in the mid 80s.
Lingering moisture and instability will keep the threat of a few showers and thunderstorms in the forecast through the day on Wednesday. Highs on Wednesday will be in the low to mid 80s across the area.
