The Stallone family has suffered another loss. Clevelander’s mourned just a few short weeks ago when Sylvester Stallone’s son, Sage Moonblood Stallone was found dead. He was found in his Studio City, California home with numerous pill bottles in his residence. Sage’s mother, and Sylvester’s first wife, Sasha Czack, indicated Sage was in pain after recent dental surgery. The family is awaiting toxicology reports.
Now, Stallone has unexpectedly lost his only sister. Toni Ann Filiti discharged herself from UCLA hospital and died in her mother’s arms. “I was holding her in my arms,” Jackie, 90, told the New York Daily News. “I had just washed her face and told her how pretty she looked, and she just fell asleep. She’s too young to go, but she wasn’t feeling any pain.” Filiti was Stallone’s half-sister.
Jackie Stallone is an astrologer and psychic, personally broke the news of Toni’s death to her famous son. “He said he can’t take any more pain,” she told the newspaper. “He said he’ll always be there for her son (Toni’s). What a terrible month – first Sage and now Toni. It’s hard. At least they’re together now in heaven.”
Sylvester recently spoke to Good Morning American. “It’s tough. It’s very tough,” the 66-year-old told “Good Morning America” about the loss of his son. “It’s a horrible situation, but time hopefully will heal and you try to get through it. It’s just something that’s a reality of life.”
Sadly, the Stallone family has faced this reality too much during this summer.
