Ah summer, the time for beaches, festivals, camping, carnivals and losing weight for that bikini/bathing suit. Almost everyone watches the calendar as the days pass in order to start their yearly ritual of shedding pounds. It’s so predictable and runs like clockwork. Whether in an office, or a retail setting, we’ve all heard our co-workers remark about how much weight they need to lose to walk on a beach in public.
There is something about this time of the year that ignites the fitness freak in people. With the hot sun baking bodies, and causing sweat, less clothes will be required, causing concern about what will show; legs, thighs, etc. So why is it that only in this time of the year people are so concerned with their appearance? Perhaps in large part this is due to the fact that people are at their sexiest when showing more skin than they normally would in colder conditions. It’s a matter of attraction and eye grabbing that fuels the desire to mimic the look of celebrities or models. On average, people spend a good portion of their week devoted to fitness clubs for regular maintenance of their physique.
In general, it’s well known that everyone will want to look their best while strutting their stuff on the boardwalk, or sauntering down the shoreline, as if it were a runway. And for some it is. There is no better time for anyone to showcase their goods than exiting the water, as it runs down tight stomachs while hair is gently tossed back.
Sporting the tight shirt, or mini skirt while casually walking around with the intention of turning heads, is almost like a hobby for the daily gym dwellers. There is something to be said for those who are in tune with their bodies condition, as it not only advertises sex appeal, it also communicates a healthy life style. This plays a significant role when selecting partners for dating, or when considering a committed relationship.
Hitting the gym, or taking a daily walk for exercise is always a great idea not only for condition, but it’s also a great way to meet people who are interested in the same goal. Developing a healthy routine, which is balanced by a nutritious diet, is a recipe for a body that speaks to the masses. Utilizing the summer sun for a bronze color, while flexing toned muscles will definitely help you acquire that mate for hibernation of the winter months.
So get out there and exercise, eat right and take advantage of the brightly lit sun-kissed days to send the message to onlookers that you are not only sexy, but healthy and have a sound fit body!
