Well known videographer and photographer, David Shumate of Tampa, Florida will bring his expertise and skill to the 2012 Truck Driver Social Media Convention in Kansas City, Missouri to capture the event as a sub-site for his BlingMaster TV Events Page.

Highly recognized for his artistic work across the country, Mr. Shumate has covered many area events such as the Born to Ride at Cody’s Roadhouse and the Monster Jam at the Raymond James Stadium, both in Tampa, Florida.

Most recently, he was involved with the 2012 Mid America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky, the 2012 Leesburg BikeFest in Leesburg, Florida and of course, the 2012 Daytona Bike Week event.

His work focuses on high-profile occasions, specifically highlighting show cars, trucking events and motorcycles, but due to his work being in such high demand, he covers all kinds of events ranging from mixed martial arts such as the RFC 23 “Breakin’ Point” A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa to the 12th Annual Tampa Bay Tattoo Fest.

He is also co-founder of Auburndale, Florida based, BlingMaster Metal Polish, a revolutionary chrome and metal polish and protectant that uses advanced Nano Technology.

The Annual Truck Driver Social Media Convention is a uniting of those within the trucking industry to recognize and honor professional CDL drivers. Drivers are attending the event in order to be informed about the most pressing issues within trucking today.

Issues to be discussed in this year’s convention include:

  • The truck driver shortage
  • FMCSA medical regulations
  • CSA
  • Truck Driver Health
  • Sleep Apnea
  • BMI
  • The human trafficking epidemic
  • Social Media in trucking
  • Truckers rights within the law

Using the power of social media, it is an event to create awareness within the industry and to the general public regarding the sacrifices and challenges that professional truck drivers face. A major feature of the convention is the “open forum” where drivers can address the panel, making statements or ask questions and receive answers.

What sets the convention apart from other trucking events, is that it is all about the driver. Direct interaction during the open forums where drivers, attendees and speakers openly discuss, ask questions and share information is a vital tool for the awareness aspect.

It is an event that gathers those who believe that honesty and transparency should be priority when networking and communicating with one another.

The entire convention will be professionally photographed and videographed by Mr. Shumate and highlights will be presented through out the world wide web.
