Just a handful of days remain before ABC’s “The Bachelorette 2012” finale, and fans cannot wait to see how this season ends. It’s come down to just two guys: Arie Luyendyk, Jr. and Jef Holm, and spoilers indicate that one man does walk away engaged to Emily Maynard in the finale. Sunday Arie did a radio interview with Speed Freaks, and fans will definitely want to check out the interview.
The interview of course focused a great deal on Arie’s racing career, and they asked how the hometown date went with the race around the Phoenix track. Arie says that Emily had a blast with it, and the whole day was great. As Arie notes, a lot of the date was left on the cutting room floor, and he wishes that viewers had gotten the chance to see more of it. He notes that Emily loves being at the track and that his family adored her.
There has been plenty of buzz this season about the physical connection between Emily and Arie. Luyendyk notes in his interview that while he’s pretty happy with how things have been edited, he does wish that more of his conversations with Emily had been shown. He says it’s obvious that the physical connection they shared was played up on the show, but he had a lot of great conversations with Emily as well.
The interviewers worked hard to try to get Arie to spill some details on how things end in the finale, but he was very careful not to let anything slip. Arie does say that the finale is a cool episode and that a “lot of stuff goes down.” He says that it was a great experience and he wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Arie notes that the show came along at a great time for him, as he was ready for a break and the time away gave him the opportunity to develop a lot of clarity. He seems to be doing quite well with his transition into the broadcasting side of racing, and fans love seeing him on-camera.
While Arie Luyendyk, Jr. won’t be on Monday night’s “Men Tell All” show, he of course will be on Sunday night’s finale and the live “After the Final Rose.” Do you think Arie earns Emily’s final rose? Would you like to see him as “The Bachelor” if he is still single? Don’t miss a minute of ABC’s “The Bachelorette 2012” finale Sunday, July 22 to see how the final moments of the season play out this year.
