The Executive Corner was invited to attend the 2012 Taste of Dallas at the Fair Park in Dallas. It was a delight to see and taste all of the food from area food vendors, trucks and restaurants. We talked with several people who not only made it their business pleasing the pallets of food lovers in and around Dallas/Fort Worth but used this event to spread the word about their company.
We were delighted to speak with Riscky’s BBQ in Fort Worth; Dutchess Chocolates in Tulsa, OK; Herday’s Mediterranean in Allen, TX; Rumtastic Rum Cakes in Atlanta, GA and a host of other vendors including Underworld Art Gallery in Oak Cliff.
Some of the patrons expressed their like for the dessert vendors including Cake Balls of Dallas, TX. There were also chain restaurants like Celebration Station, Texas de Brazil, McDonald’s and others who offered discounted samples for food lovers. The cost of samples ranged from $1 – $3. While it was hot the event planners for this wonderful event had water stations and cooling tents. There was also a place for kids to hang out . There was a petting zoo, competitions, inflatable zones and a host of other activities including face painting.
Free samples were plenty and it was very fun! Enjoy the video and photos from this wonderful event.
