The Neptune astrology effect and a generation to watch

July 30, 2012

Astrological generations are assessed in fourteen to fifteen year periods which is the length of the Neptune orbital completion . Usually not much importance is ascribed to such broad based categories, because astrology is so focused on the individual.

A nice up and coming generational set is the age group born between 1970/71 and 1984/85. This youthful generation’s age range is now around twenty-eight years old spanning to late thirties at this time. In general, they haven’t stirred up much controversy, so as a group they’ve gone by rather unnoticed.

It’s interesting to note the characteristics of the different generational groups. For example, the seniors that are now reaching the outer confines of a life span have been grouped under the Neptune in Leo category. History proves out what a loyal, and patriotic group these people have been. Loyalty, honor, and patriotism are a few of the astrologically assigned characteristics. They were involved in World War II – a war with no draft. The women took over the factory jobs while the men were off fighting a war against Adolph Hitler’s Third Reich.

Embarking on the twenty first century, the qualities of the Neptune in Sagittarius group (70’s through 1985) become influential as they emerge fully into adulthood. Sandwiched between the ‘X’ generation, and the “millenials,” the Neptune in Sadge generation may yield some outstanding leaders. Most of those under this grouping have the natural ability to distinguish right from wrong because of an atonement to “the still small voice.”

These folks are idealistic, hopeful and positive. They seem to have a kind, sympathetic, and idealistic side that is both optimistic and enthusiastic. They have a sense of humor, and know how to have a good time. They are forthright and communicative.

Another quality found in the Neptune/Sagittarius group is the love of animals. Many vegetarians come from this group, because of the extreme sensitivity about cruelty to animals. A note is in line here referencing a work by Robert Hand, world famous contemporary astrologer. In his 1980 publication, “Horoscope Symbols,” he gives outlines of all generational groups. Television viewers know that the advertisements focused on helping abused and abandoned pets are shown regularly these days.

More than this, education is important amongst these 21st century young adults. Travel might be emphasized as part of educating this generation. Look for some great communicators and writers to come forth from this crowd.

Take a sigh of relief, and then another one for sympathy. Because of the problems they are going to inherit, wish the best for the Neptune/Sagittarius group – an up and coming generation of 21st century leaders.
