– Tonight’s WWE RAW Supershow takes place from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado. Advertised locally is John Cena vs. Big Show and John Laurinaitis in a Handicap Match. WWE will also tape SmackDown tonight as Tuesday’s tapings were canceled due to the Colorado wildfires. Tonight’s tapings will see Superstars first, RAW live at 9pm EST and then SmackDown following RAW.
WWE is hyping the following points for tonight’s show:
After being named the special guest referee in the WWE Championship match between Punk and Bryan, AJ has shown more of her unstable side. She has threatened to jump off the ring through a table and instead she pushed CM Punk and Daniel Bryan through it. I guess this was her way of getting her point across that she can get noticed by doing drastic things. Tonight on Raw we will see what her next step is a week away from Money in the Bank.
Who will be the next Superstar to fall victim to Alberto Del Rio’s wrath? Last week we learned that Del Rio was announced to compete against Sheamus for the World Title at Money in the Bank. He has had this chance before but others were added to the match or injury took him out of it. Determined to show Sheamus what he is in for on Sunday, Del Rio viciously attacked Sin Cara prior to their match. All we can ask ourselves as the PPV approaches is, who is next?
A possible rematch between Tensai and Tyson Kidd. This could be a good or a bad thing for Tyson Kidd. Kidd was able to pull it off last week due to Tensai not being on his game but this week could be different. Kidd is a talented competitor but he may not do well with an angry man with the strenght of Tensai after him.
The Prime Time Players go for the WWE Tag Team Titles. The Prime Time Players (Darren Young & Titus O’Neil) are a well oiled machine when they step into the ring. They have the charisma and the it factor that all WWE superstars need but they should dump their manager. If Abraham Washington is going to keep pulling them out of the ring everytime they get into a bind, it won’t prove anything but that they are cowards. They can become the Tag Team Champions but they have to compete in the entire match this time.
Who will the mystery General Manager be? Well, the mystery General Manager could be someone from the past, present, or the future. We have seen Mick Foley, Vickie Guererro, and Teddy Long all return to the title that they once held. Now this week on Smackdown We will see Zack Ryder become the GM for one night only which in my eyes will be a treat. But we are talking about Raw this time, maybe it should be the Big Red Monster Kane as he was the last man left at the Battle Royal before he was thrown out by Ryder. We can all make our guesses but nobody really knows except the WWE and the one that will be the General Manager of tonight’s Monday Night Raw live from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
