Summer is coming to an end and it’s time for parents to empty out their bank accounts and buy school supplies. Okay, maybe not empty out the bank accounts but depending on how many children you have, it can become quite the financial burden. There are many places to go and every store that can supply you with paper, pens and pencils will be advertising that they have the best prices. Who really does give you the best deals? Here are a few suggestions.
- Wal-Mart- There is no question about it, Wal-Mart has affordable prices. Usually they have the supply list right there for you to pick up and start shopping. It is better to go early in the morning, when most people are still asleep. Even though the prices may be worth the trip, the crowds will be exorbitant, the closer you get to the first day of school.
- Staples- Staples has great prices and great inventory. Usually crowds are small and their sales people are very helpful. Although things like paper towels and tissues will usually be higher than Wal-Mart, they will make your trip for school supplies easy and painless.
- Target- Target is another good place to go when on the lookout for school supplies. Still crowded like Wal-Mart, with a very good selection and a staff that is available to help you find what you need.
So start early and don’t procrastinate anymore. The supply lists are out and there’s not time like the present. Get your kiddoes ready for their future endeavors and find a store that suits your needs.
