Festival activities may be too much for some people according to Sunday’s news reports that One Direction was mobbed by fans and a man was discovered dead in his tent. Holding the festival in two parks the Staffordshire site has about 85,000 visitors. In two completely unrelated incidents, some are questioning the safety of festivals. Frequent news reports cautioning people to “stay safe” were issued just days before Sunday’s discovery of the dead man.
Some campers were possibly emotionally upset after realizing that a dead body was found in a tent nearby. This year’s V Festival holds a mysterious death. The police are not suspicious at this time of why the man died, but they are investigating the unexplained death. The man was found at about one a.m. on Sunday in Staffordshire park, and removed from the park by ambulance.
Meanwhile, One Direction band members were forced to run away from the V Festival after being attacked by a mob of hysterical “girl” fans. The British boys went their separate ways to party and club hop. Only one band member remained behind to enjoy the festival with his girlfriend. Liam Payne and girlfriend Danielle Peazer enjoyed more of the festival on their own. Photos of the couple enjoying themselves are posted on The Daily Mail. It has become common for mobs to stall the progress of just one member, but this time the fun and games were ruined for most of the band members of One Direction.
Was Rush Limbaugh right all those months ago when Justin Bieber’s downstairs fall prompted his satirical remarks that concerts are very dangerous and that Congress might have to investigate or possibly concerts will have to be outlawed? Of course in London, the police are already investigating the unusual death of the mystery man, and the Queen has been informed of the situation.
