Celebrities have once again come together for an amazing cause. Now in its second year is Valspar Hands for Habitat, an auction of celebrity hand prints using Valspar Paint to benefit Habitat for Humanity. For those who aren’t familiar with the program, money raise from each auction benefits Habitat for Humanity’s disaster response programs helping thousands to rebuild destroyed homes. In addition to monies raised, Valspar will donate $1,000 for every set of celebrity hand prints collected for Valspar Hands for Habitat.
“Valspar has been supporting Habitat’s mission and goals for more than 25 years, and we are so grateful for their ongoing partnership,” says Jonathan Reckford, CEO of Habitat for Humanity. So now that you know about the program, want to know what celebs are participating? Here is a short list:
- Lea Michele of ‘Glee’ (also Valspar Hands for Print Ambassador)
- HGTV talent and host, Genevieve Gorder
- Joan and Melissa Rivers
- Ivanka Trump
