The words you use, think, and say are very important tools is the creation of your life experience.
Your first reaction to that statement might be one of disbelief…we have always been taught that “talk is cheap”…right? Action is what counts. Well, I think we have it all back-wards! The first step in taking any sort of action, is to talk or think about what you are going to do. Yes, the words in your head count as well. The words you choose may very well be the deciding factor on failure or achievement. You could be setting yourself up for failure before you even get started!
How can this be? Words carry a vibration or frequency. In our last column we talked about attracting certain events into our lives by the energetic vibration that we send out into the environment. Words are one of the most powerful tools in setting that tone. Make sure you choose your words carefully!
Now, this might all sound like “airy fairy” metaphysical stuff, but science is showing otherwise. One of the pioneers in this field is the Japanese professor Masaru Emoto. He wrote a book called “Hidden Messages in Water”. In that book he did a now famous experiment. He took two glasses of water, on one glass he wrote the word “Hate”, and on the other he wrote the word “Love”. He then froze both glasses, and looked at the ice crystals under a microscope. In the glass with the word Love, the crystals were perfectly formed and beautiful. In the glass with the word Hate, the crystals were deformed and ugly. This happened everytime…it did not matter who wrote the words or how the letters were produced. This experiment has been reproduced in many universities around the world over the last 10 years, and all with the same results. So, what does this tell us? Words carry a vibrational energy! The water picked up on, and stored that energy somehow. Considering that your body is 70% water, I think it’s VERY important to watch your words when referring to personal health issues.
So, try and become a little more conscious of the words you are using in conversation and in your mind. For example, many of us are going through financial issues right now. Very often in conversation with our friends and acquaintances, we end up talking about “how bad it is”. Words that carry any sort of fear will send that vibration out into the environment, and you’ll simply be reinforcing your poor financial situation. Instead, try talking in a positive manor when you are referring to your finances. You’ll have a much better chance of attracting money! I know it might seem like a big task to be conscious of the words you are using, but I promise it will become second nature once you have been doing it for a while. I’m sure you will see an improvement in what ever part of your life you are discussing or thinking about.
