In this weekend edition of the Daily Deadz we’ve got Google using zombies to recruit new talent, the Zombies are back after 51 years, prediction says zombies to be the hot costume this Halloween, Geek Alert’s Zombie Soap, and Rob Zombie set to rock out Vegas in two day concert.
In this, the newest form of zombie public relations, I rundown the top zombie themed storiez and newz from around the globe and call it The Daily Deadz.
The idea behind the madness is to bring it all together for you to devour at your convenience throughout the day so you wouldn’t have to scour the streets for your zombie meat, I mean newz, like the savages.
Enough zippity do da-in’, let’s get to it…
5. Wall Street Journal Reports: Google Lures New Talent With Zombies
“The problem: Zombies are popping out of a graveyard. The challenge: Smash as many as possible. It might sound like any mindless carnival, but the stakes on Friday were high. The best zombie-smasher could be in the running to win $10,000 and perhaps a job at Google Inc.” – ANJALI ATHAVALEY
4. Chicago Daily Herald reports: 51 years later, The Zombies bring ’60s revival to Lincolnshire
“Known for British invasion hits such as “She’s Not There,” “Tell Her No” and “Time of the Season,” The Zombies perform Tuesday, July 31, at Viper Alley in Lincolnshire and Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Mayne Stage in Chicago.” – Josh Stockinger
3. Equities.com reports: Mega Fancy Dress Predict Zombie Costumes to be Most Popular
“Halloween is a huge event around the world where people dress up as the un-dead, the occult and mythical monsters. Mega Fancy Dress has seen more people dressing up in Halloween costumes every year. The leading country for celebration is America – where making Halloween fancy dress costumes and decorating your whole house is the norm. Europe is not far behind, with more families wanting an excuse to have a good time; therefore, Halloween fancy dress parties are becoming big events worldwide.” – Mega Fancy Dress
2. GeekAlerts announces: Zombie Soap!
“Zombies are undead. They shuffle around on streets and eat brains. So they aren ‘t going to smell very good. They need soap. They need Zombie Soap.” – GA
